Band 7 Sample answers

The bar chart depicts the proportion of Australian males and females in the different age group who did a regular exercise in 2019. The y-axis shows the percentage, whereas, x-axis demonstrates age groups, there are two poles give the information of men and women did the workout in a specified period.

In the beginning, 10 to 20 strata, there is an influential hike in males workout but after it started decrease although females proportion was low in starting and same as men slightly decreases up to 30 years. After the thirties, females ratio mildly increases from 80% to 90% whereas men's percentage is the same as in the previous group. Females who lie in the age group of 41 to 50 did the exercise 90% which is highest, however, the lowest of 51 to 60.60 above men touched the peak that is 92%.

In summary, females after the age of 20 started to decrease the workout and did highest in 41 to 50, whereas, males were highest in above 60 but slightly above the 41 to 50 group and 10 to 20.

The given bar chart depicts the percentage of Australian men and women, who practised physical exercises in 2019, depending on their age groups.

There are six different age groups, ranging from ten years old to above sixty years old. In the first age group, 10-20, men have practised physical exercise more than women, reaching almost 90 per cent whereas 85 per cent for women. The percentage, for both categories, diminishes in the age group of 21 to 30. The men stay ahead of women regarding the percentage, reaching a bit more than 80 per cent, while women reach it barely. For the two next age groups, it has changed, the increase in the physical activities for both sexes, while women lead this time. The 31-40 age group shows that women reached almost 90 per cent and men barely surpass the 80 per cent barrier, the increase that grows in the 41-50 age group, where women reach 95 per cent and men follow them at a close 92 per cent score. The fifth age group between 51 to 60, depicts a decrease in activity for both sexes, and a come back for men's leading scorer, with a big gap between the two sexes, as women hit barely the 70 percent score, while men passed the 80 per cent score. The gap grows deeper between sexes in the last age group (60 and above) where men surpass the 96 per cent threshold for a 78 per cent, reached by women.
