Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is John Smith and I have enrolled for an intensive English Language, last for a month and October intake, at your college, Humber College, Toronto. I am writing to let you know that due to some personal reasons I cannot attend the course as per scheduled time.

Let me explain in more detail. Recently, I met an accident when I was driving home. Fortunately, I was taken to the emergency ward as soon as possible and treated accordingly. However, a doctor has suggested me to take bed rest for at least two months which overlaps with the month of classes at your college.

Could I ask for a favour to transfer me in the next cohort so that I could attend the course? In case, if this is not possible, I would prefer to receive a refund as mentioned in the refund policy that 90 per cent of tuition fees are refundable.
