Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing with regard to a piece of diamond jewellery that has insurance from your company is lost. In particular, it was a neckless worth USD 10000, having 18-carat gold to hold the diamond stone, I had bought this as a surprise birthday gift for my wife.
Unfortunately, when I was returning back to my home country from Dubai, I had kept it in the check-in baggage with a sealed lock. However, after receiving my baggage from the conveyer belt, I discovered that the jewellery was missing from the suitcase. Furthermore, some other items were also missing from the baggage such as a watch, and some cash.
Could you please provide me with details about how I could claim for the lost item during travel, I have a premium policy. I would highly appreciate it if you could also furnish the documents pertaining to apply for the claim.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
John Smith
