Question :

Talk about a time when you travelled with an old person.

Well, I have frequently travelled with an old person, especially with my Grandfather. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us now; however, his memories always keep him alive in my life. He was a tough cookie, I remember that even though he had Stomach Cancer, he fought courageously and always used to keep a positive attitude towards life, no matter in what condition he is. He passed away after fighting 8 years of Cancer.

I can vividly recall that we used to visit many historical places together, as he wanted to share his knowledge with me about our culture and historical events. Once, I guess when I was in high school, we were travelling to Australia to spend a holiday. It was like an unforgettable tour, we did loads of water activities such as snorkelling, jet-ski, banana boat, and parasailing. I really had a time of life on that tour.

As a grandchild, I have learned numerous values and etiquettes. He always used to teach me table manners and how to behave as a good person in society. I had heard loads of stories during my childhood and those stories often had some moral behind it. He was a great storyteller because he creates the background as like a real in life which contributes to feeling it closely.

Overall, I will never forget his way of living and telling me stories. All the time I had travelled with him was outstanding.
