Well, receiving false details could cause tremendous inconvenience in certain cases. Here, I'd like to talk about one such incidence I come across with and waste my whole academic year. When I passed out of high school, I was looking for prestigious colleges to enrol for graduation. I think that was in January 2016.

I had done my research in which college to apply and also checked out their website for the application deadline. They had mentioned that the deadline to send application is until the last day of March. So I thought I have time to kill to gather the required documents and I collected documents slowly before mid of March. However, when I open their website up to apply, it was showing deadline was February and the portal was unable to accept any application.

It turned out that they had typo errors. This misrepresentation of information had immensely affected me as other colleges also had closed their admission procedure. To matter worst, there wasn't any other option by that time, and I ended up doing nothing for the whole year.

To sum up, I think any small mistakes could spoil someone's life, people should be very impeccable in their work. Like me, the same situation could have happened for many others also. So any wrong information could lead to ruin someone's life.
