Ok. I have heard countless speeches in my entire life. If I have to say the one most interesting lecture, so it would be the one which I heard in my hometown, Ho Chi Min City, a few months before. It was organised by the City Council on the Environmental Day, which is 5th June at a Local Stadium. If I can recall it was started around 11:00 am and lasted for 4 hours, it was really lengthy; however, I never felt boredom because of the global warming topic.

To my surprise, the spokesman for the program was my college professor, Dr Robert, who used to teach us Environmental Science. Not only is he an eloquent speaker but also the best orator I have known. The main focus of the lecture was on causes, effects and potential solutions for global warming. The Explanation of how human activities, such as deforestation, overfishing, using own vehicles, causing to the environment was really easily understandable as he gave real-life examples. This was quickly followed by how it will detrimentally affect human life in the form of natural calamities. For example, floods, sea rise level, and climate change will barm us adversely. It was more interesting when he provided a simple and possible measure that everyone can follow, such as planning a tree, use recycled materials, avoid using plastic items.

Overall, I can say that this lecture made me think twice when using plastic bags. Therefore, since then I decided that I will never use plastic in my remaining life.
