Ok. There are loads of attractive places, including monuments, beaches, historical places, in my country, India. However, I'd like to talk about one of the seven wonders of the world, that is Tajmahal, which is situated in Agra, near the capital city, Delhi. This is a very interesting historical masterpiece because it is one of the most flawless architectural creation of the world.
During my graduation, our college had organised Agra tour, If I can recall, it was in December 2007 when I saw it the first time. Many of classmates, like me, had a chance to see Tajmahal first time. Before visiting there, I had only read in History about it. When I saw this beautiful memorial, I was fascinated with its design and the white marble material that was used to build it.
This is well-known for various reasons. The most important one is it is considered as the symbol of love as it was built in the loving memory of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan's beloved wife, Mumtaz. Many young couples and just married people pop up there to have a successful life ahead. Another factor which made it famous is Shahjahan cut off all workers hands whoever involved in constructing the Tajmahal with the aim of no one would try to build a similar building. What is more striking from my perspective is that the tombs of Shahjahan and Mumtaj are buried in the basement as it belongs to them. I believe this is very unusual and impressive as well.
Overall, I can say that this place is the most attractive I had ever seen. I will always remember its picture in mind.
