Question :

Describe a time when you had to wait in a long line.

Well, Yes I don't like to be in a long queue because it could take away my productive hours from me. However, there was a time when I had to wait for almost three hours for my turn. When last year I was travelling to New Zealand for a holiday, there was a very long line in the immigration process.

You won't believe that I had been waiting for solid 3 hours, perhaps more than that, to submit my passport for immigration stamping. I remember it was summer holiday and many people were travelling to enjoy their holiday. The icing on the cake, during the same time also Cricket matches were playing, so many people from around the globe came to enjoy the cricket matches.

I think there were also some technical issues which made the queue very big. Due to online facilities down, immigration officers were working slowly, which made to be queued for such a long time.

Overall, well I thought the management at the airport was quite poor, but later I learned that actual issue was due to air traffic and the majority of aircraft landed almost at the similar time. I hope in future I won't have to face such a long wait.
