Well, knowing the fact that it's time to save the environment, a small portion of society taking steps to preserve it. However, A friend of mine, known as Adam, contribute his valuable time in order to protect the environment. He became my friend when we were studying together at Boston University, for masters in Computer Science. He is environmentally conscious, interested in eco-friendly and sustainable things.

Even though he has been working as a Software Programmer for 8 years, he never forgets to spend his weekend in protecting the environment. Every Saturday and Sunday, he closely works with a Non-Profit Organization called "Save Earth". Their primary aim to plant countless trees across the city as trees play an important role in preserving the atmosphere. You won't believe, his team and himself planted more than 50000 trees in the last 3 months which is a huge achievement for them. Planting tree has really significant advantages to the Earth. The most important is it provides oxygen and absorbs carbon dioxide. Another benefit is they support the wildlife which ultimately contributes to preserving the ecological cycle. Furthermore, it reduces the effects of flooding and many more plus points for planting the trees.

Overall, I can say that my friend contributing his considerable time to saving the environment. I will always remember him how gracious he is for the Earth.
