Question :

Describe a comic actor who is popular in your country. You should say: Who is he/she? What type of person he/she is? How you come to know about him/her? and explain why he/she is popular?

Well, In my country, India, there are numerous Comedians who act in movies and reality shows. However, I'd like to talk about the one who is renowned worldwide and he is known as "Russell Peters". He is a Candian born actor and he is in his fifties now. He has a round face, hmmm he also has the athletic build, with broad shoulders and muscular arms. He started his carrier with stand-up comedies during his higher studies.

He has a great sense of humour, and always make farcical actions with the aim of making people laugh. Though most of the time his jokes involve vulgar language, his mother also watches his shows and enjoy. Public shows a great interest in his comedy shows and people also watch him with special interest. As far as his acting is concerned, for me, it's full of entertainment.

I vividly remember that when I was 17, I saw him on the youtube channel, and I experienced a roller coaster of excitements when he portrayed the life of the teenager with lots of funny actions in his video. I watched with my two classmates and they were also amazed at his comedy.

Well, what makes him popular is that the context he chooses for his performances. He often refers to his own experiences with friends and family. However, other comedian tries to mimic others or uses incidences from society. Overall, I can say that Russell Peters is my favourite comic actor.
